SBI Flyer

The Summer Bridging Institute is an annual institute held during the summer. It offers professional development for both current and future educators of all grade levels and all subjects. 
Both large group sessions and small breakout sessions are offered and are presented by both local educators and experts in the field. Sessions focus on creating student-centered lessons, developing strategies that can be implemented to stimulate, guide, and build capacity of diverse student populations.

  • Socio-emotional learning
  • Interdisciplinary Instructional Designs and Strategies
  • Special Education
  • Clinical Teaching
  • Virtual Instruction

SBI will be held virtually using Zoom on July 14th to 16th.

Sessions will be held from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm daily.

Participants can earn up to 6 CPE hours per day.


This is a FREE event for everyone.

Registration is mandatory. 


Those who have registered will receive an email about two weeks prior to the institute with a link to an online orientation that will include instructions for joining the institute.


Participants are not required to attend every session.

They can choose which sessions they would like to attend based on their interests, but they will only receive CPE hours for the sessions they attend.
