ROBOTICS CLUB

LCM

ABOUT THE CLUB

Our student-led robotics clubs challenge elementary & middle school students to be creative while learning STEM concepts, pique interest in STEM majors and STEM-related careers, and develop 21st century learning skills.  Students in our club do more than build and program robots, they tackle solutions to real-world problems, conduct research, and learn teamwork-building skills.  Using Lego® Mindstorms® robotics kits and the EV3 programming software in club each week, eligible team members have the opportunity to compete in regional First® Lego® League (FLL) competition events every year.

UTSA UNDERGRADUATE MENTORS

Undergraduate mentors visit the schools during the after school club meetings to support the students and club sponsors. The participating student mentors come from the colleges of Science, Engineering, and Interdisciplinary Studies.
